Frankensoap Edition - Atlantic Stout

Welcome to the FrankenSoap limited edition collection from The Black Stuff.

Believe it or not Halloween actually comes from an ancient Irish holiday called "Samhain" ("Summer's End") - so I really wanted to mark it with something unique at The Black Stuff.

 

About four or five months ago, I made every combination of my soaps possible, and picked my four favorites for this collection - The Frankensoap Edition.

Yes, each one is (approx) half of one soap, mixed with half of another, and you would be amazed how that changes the soap. Every bar has at least 8 different essential oils inside and they are really enjoyable to wash with. Who knows, maybe next year you can help decide which ones we make.

About: This bar is made in our smaller molds and weighs about 4.5-5oz (125-140g). This bar is half Atlantic Pine Tar & half Black Stout

Smells Like: This unique soap features a really interesting mix of scents. The familiar woody, Guinness notes from Black Stout creates a really interesting back drop to the forward pine and basil and spearmint scents from Atlantic Pine Tar. In the shower, the smokey pine tar comes through like a cherry on top.

Grit: This is a rough soap, both halves feature volcanic pumice and our in house blend of oat meal to give you an exfoliating wash without scratching you up.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive Oil), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Elaeis Guineensis Oil (Sustainable RSPO Palm Oil), Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Aqua (Distilled Water), Stout (Beer), Ricinus Communis Seed Oil (Castor Oil), Colloidal Oatmeal, Kaolin Clay, Sodium Chloride, Mel (Honey), Abies Sibirica (Fir) Leaf Oil, Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood) Bark Oil, Piper Nigrum (Black Pepper) Seed Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Flower Oil, Pinus Palustris Wood Tar (Pine Tar), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel (Sweet Orange) Oil, Pinus Palustris (Pine) Oil, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Oil, Mentha Spicata Herb Oil (Spearmint), Ocimum Basilicum (Basil) Oil , Activated Charcoal
